Adding Certificates to the Crossfire Portal
The certificates page can be found in the messaging module. Press "new" to create a certificate, like any other object in Crossfire.
Set the entity to the same entity required by your transport.
Make sure "Password" is set if the certificate has one.
Checking a purpose will make this certificate show up in transport settings lookups for that purpose.
There are two "Storage Type" options for storing certificate files:
Certificates can be stored on the disk of the Crossfire instance, in which case a path must be provided.Â
Certificates can be uploaded to the Crossfire Database. Click the Upload button and find the certificate on your local file system. You can click the download button to redownload your uploaded certificate.
We recommend the "In Database" option. These certificates will be available to all Crossfire Instances using the same Database, and are easy to redownload.
