Keyword Indexing

Keyword indexing allows us to configure specific indexing on elements and the values that are passed through. The result is that messages can be searched based on these fields a lot faster then the standard contains filter.

Follow the instructions to enable keyword indexing on Crossfire mappings.

First set up a few keyword indexes under the Config > Keyword Indexes menu.

Then, on the message standard used for the messages that you want to add this for, select the element, and then add the Keyword Index to the Index field.

From now on, all messages using this standard will have its values recorded into a special table to enable the searching on it.

To search for these messages, open the standard Messages listing under General > Messages and then select Index. Pick the index that you want to search on and then enter the value you are looking for. This will return all messages where that keyword exists.
