Crossfire's new versioning approach will be named by year, month. e.g. Version 12.5 represents the end of May release.
This new version includes a big pile of new features added this year:

New message standard page, allowing the selection of EDIFACT/X12 standards explicitly. The message standard page, now selects the appropriate settings automatically for these standards. These are stored in the Standards repository

The scheduler can be configured to automatically delete temporary files created by the .Net runtime
End time has been added to Schedules
EDIFACT/X12 mappings now support mapping to and from the service segments (message/interchange header)
Removing empty elements has some new options (remove empty elements with attributes, without attributes, with empty attributes only)
Repeat mapping improved and simplified, you can specify it using the UI. The repeat map function is no longer used.

Deleting Transports/Schedules is now done as a process, after hours. This prevents the user from waiting when deleting these items.

Deletion of schedules happens delayed. The schedules get a status of 'Deleted' when deleted from the UI and a job will do the cleanup of the logs, steps and the schedules daily.
Issues Resolved
When a transport is changed, the schedule step is no longer reset in the run order.
When a destination map is removed, the transport is also removed.
Ampersands can be used in transport names
In-line C#/SQL editor supports IE8
When you set an email address on the process, then assign a file out transport, it no longer puts the email in as the folder to deliver to.
When you import a file for test purpose, it no loger converts “special” characters (like É, è, à, …) to an unreadable format
