Servers, Transports, Routes & Schedules

Overview

The overall process is:

  1. Create a schedule. This defines how often something runs. Typically one would be created for each Customer/Partner.

  2. Create the required transports to pick up and deliver files and assign them to the appropriate schedule. Typically one will be created for each type of file recieved from each client.

  3. Configure where the received file is sent:

    1. Crossfire to be translated

    2. Another transport to be sent elsewhere.

  4. If applicable, configure a Server when using the same Mail or FTP server for many Transports.

Inbound messages will be retrieved and will show directly in the Messages Archived list. Outbound messages will be queued in the Queued Messages list until the Schedule triggers the transport and delivers the file.
